Digital medical record
What is it?
Would you like a simple and safe way to consult medical results and data? From now on, our patients can do this easily on the website www.cozo.be or the accompanying app (for smartphones or tablets). This provides patients with a user-friendly way to access to their own medical record.
Patients who have consulted a physician in our hospital or in our Maria Middelares Medical Centre can consult their data digitally from three weeks after validation by their physician. This will allow physicians to have enough time to first discuss the results with the patient and give them an interpretation of the data.
It is easy to consult your data from various care providers (reports, results, imaging, medication plans, letters...) from a single source..
It is important to know, however, that data available from 1 December 2017 onwards can be viewed. The patient can ask (the secretariat of) the attending physician to make older data available.
How to register...
Patients can access their data on www.cozo.be or by downloading the app from the Google and Apple Stores
Our hospital is part of the Cooperative Care Platform (CoZo), a digital cooperation platform that allows patients, care providers and facilities to exchange medical data. It is the federal government's largest data sharing network within eHealth. Data from more than 110 facilities and data sources (including hospitals, psychiatric facilities, laboratories, radiology practices and regional vaults Vitalink, BruSafe and Intermed) can now be consulted centrally and securely through the CoZo platform. Given the sensitivity of the data, the security of the registration and login procedure is paramount.
