Because of the coronavirus, strict guidelines are in place for visitors. The current regulations can be found here. We ask you to comply strictly with these.

Visitors are welcome from 2pm to 8pm

General visiting hours

Would you like to visit a friend or relative in our hospital?

You are very welcome to do so from 2pm to 8pm.

Please keep in mind that different visiting hours apply in some departments.


Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: from 5pm to 8pm
Wed and weekends: from 2pm to 8pm

Recovery room

From 7.45pm to 8pm

Intensive Care and Intermediate Care

Visits are restricted to immediate family members and limited to three persons.
The Intensive Care and Intermediate Care departments apply flexible visiting hours: brief visits are possible any time between 8am and 8pm.

Cardiac Care Unit

Flexible visiting hours: you are welcome to visit your relative briefly at any time between 8am and 8pm.

Oncology and Therapy Day Hospital

You may visit patients in the Oncology and Therapy Day Hospital between 8am and 7pm.


Would you like to pay your respects to a loved on who has passed away? Please go to the information desk in the entrance hall and one of our receptionists will show you the way to the mortuary (underground floor 1). Our mortuary staff will then take you to a room where you can say your last goodbyes.

Opening hours

Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat: from 9am to 12.30pm and from 1pm to 5.30 pm
Tue and Thu: from 9am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 8pm
Closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays

A short visit is fun; a long one is tiring

  • Please take account of visiting hours and contact the patient in advance to agree a suitable time. Keep your visit brief.
  • Please wait outside if a care provider is with the patient.
  • In rooms with several patients, keep the other patient(s) in mind.
  • Make sure that children do not travel in lifts alone or play in the corridors.
