
Practical information
Please always:
- Mention your pregnancy or suspected pregnancy at the time of the appointment and/or before the start of the examination!
- To notify if you are unable to keep a made appointment on time or at all. A simple phone call is sufficient. That way, we can have another patient take your place. If you wish, a new appointment can be fixed immediately.
- To be notified before your MR examination if you have a pacemaker, neurostimulator, heart valve ... have. To allow the examination to proceed safely, we need details of the device in advance; name and type, serial number, insertion date ...
What do you bring to the hospital?
- Application form from referring physician.
- Your identity card.
- Previous radiological photographs (e.g. previous mammograms), if you have them.

Information supplements
The doctors in the radiology department are not contracted. This means that a legal supplement can be charged for a radiological examination, as stipulated in the coordinated Act on compulsory insurance for medical care and benefits of 14 July 1994. The supplement is not reimbursed by the NIHDI and is therefore borne by the patient.
The following supplements are applied:
- RX, mammography: maximum 15.53 euros
- Ultrasound: maximum 15.53 euro
- CT: between 20 and 37.97 euro, depending on the examination performed
- MRI: between 35 and 46.58 euros, depending on the examination performed
Before starting your CT or MR examination, you will have to sign an informed consent on this.
