Hip and Knee class or Hip and Knee forum

At Maria Middelares General Hospital, we are fully aware of the benefits of a patient being well-informed. We also firmly believe in this.

You will soon be admitted to Maria Middelares General Hospital or St Vincent General Hospital in Deinze for a hip or knee operation.
You may have a number of questions about this.

  • What happens upon admission and during the operation?
  • How will I be put under anaesthesia?
  • Where will I be staying?
  • What will the rehabilitation be like?

Our team answers these and other questions in an information session: the Hip and Knee class at Maria Middelares General Hospital or the Hip and Knee forum at St Vincent General Hospital in Deinze. As part of a group of a few other patients, you will be given an overview of the full path from admission to the day you can go home again.

You are welcome to bring your partner or another person close to you to the hip and knee class.
