Hip and Knee class
At Maria Middelares General Hospital, we are fully aware of the benefits of being well-informed and well-prepared.
You will soon be admitted to Maria Middelares General Hospital for a hip or knee operation.
You may have a number of questions about this.
- What happens upon admission and during the operation?
- How will I be put under anaesthesia?
- Where will I be staying?
- What will the rehabilitation be like?
These and other questions will be answered by a physician, a nurse, an occupational therapist and a physiotherapist in our Hip and Knee class. As part of a group of a few other patients, you will be given an overview of the full path from admission to the day you can go home again.
You are welcome to bring your partner or another person close to you to the hip and knee class.
Maria Middelares General Hospital organises a Hip and Knee class multiple times a year. The content of these sessions is always the same. In other words, you only need to take part once. Select the date that suits you best before your operation. Please find the various dates in the form below.
