A video consultation is a remote consultation with your care provider. The consultation takes place via your computer, smartphone or tablet. You do not have to go to the hospital for this.

What will you need?

For computer/laptop:

  • A computer or laptop with a webcam, speakers and a microphone.
  • Microsoft Teams Application

or

  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge Internet browser. Other browsers (such as Internet Explorer, Safari or Mozilla Firefox) do not support these video consultations.

For smartphone or tablet:

  • The Microsoft Teams application that can be downloaded from your Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). If you follow the step-by-step procedure below, you will automatically be directed to the store to download the application.
  • A camera, speakers and a microphone are standard features on a smartphone. Make sure that your volume is sufficiently high and that the front camera is not covered.
