What is it?
A SPECT-CT scan is a combined test using isotopes with a multidectector CT scan.

Preparation for the test
No specific preparation is needed for this procedure.
Let your nurse or physician know if you are (possibly) pregnant. If that is the case, the procedure cannot be performed. Remember to also communicate any contraindications for intravenous contrast (if necessary for the test).
