Cardiac Surgery

The Cardiac Surgery Department is responsible for the surgical treatment of heart diseases. If heart surgery is indicated, the cardiologist will refer the patient to the cardiosurgeon.

The Surgery Department is part of Surgery in Ghent and the Heart Centre of Ghent.
