You can contact our haematologists for abnormalities in the blood, blood-forming organs, bone marrow and lymph nodes. Approximately 20% entail benign diseases, such as coagulation disorders, anaemia or an increased tendency to thrombosis. 80% are malignant diseases. Examinations by the haematologist
A great deal of information can already be gained from examining a blood smear under the microscope. Sometimes, an additional bone marrow puncture, imaging or gland biopsy is required.
