Conditions and diseases
Symptoms and causes
When we remove a wisdom tooth, it is usually for the following reasons:
- an infection
- difficult oral hygiene
- periodontal disease
- lack of space
- cyst formation
- risk of issues with the neighbouring elements
Diagnosis and treatment
An X-ray (panoramic radiography) will be taken in consultation with the dentist and orthodontist in order to set up the appropriate treatment.
We can remove wisdom teeth under both local and general anaesthesia.
