What is it?

The most common pelvic floor problems are:

  • Urinary problems or incontinence: Quite a few women experience urinary problems. Almost all women will develop cystitis (a bladder infection) in the course of their lives. Urinary incontinence is very common. Worldwide, there are likely around 200 million people who have some form of incontinence. In the Western world, it is suspected that urinary incontinence affects approximately 14% of all women over the age of 30.
  • A prolapse

In addition, there are other 'pelvic floor' conditions such as 'difficulty urinating', 'not emptying the bladder completely', 'pain while urinating'... A team is ready who will help you and solve these symptoms.
