Allergic rhinoconjunctivitis
Symptoms and causes
What is it?
If, besides nasal symptoms (see allergic rhinitis), there is also pronounced eye discomfort, we refer to allergic rhinoconjunctivitis.
Symptoms
The most important symptoms include:
- runny, congested and/or itching nose
- sneezing bouts
- tearing, itchy eyes.

Diagnosis and treatment
Treatment
- antihistamines: medication that suppresses allergic reactions
- nasal rinses with a physiological solution
- nasal spray
- eye drops
- immunotherapy
