Coffee mugs for Katako-Kombe

Maria Middelares General Hospital has supported the ‘Hospital for Hospital’ Project run by Memisa, an NGO, for many years. Together we aim to establish high-quality, long-term basic healthcare, chiefly in Central and West Africa and India. To that end, Maria Middelares General Hospital has entered into a partnership with a hospital in Katako-Kombe (Democratic Republic of the Congo).

Every year, a great number of fund-raising activities are organised for the benefit of the hospital. COVID-19 also put a stop to this, so we opted for a creative alternative!

Artist helen b designed coffee mugs that reflect the solidarity between Maria Middelares General Hospital, St Vincent General Hospital Deinze and their partner hospitals (Katako-Kombe and Kasongo-Lunda, respectively), with a nod to mother and child care.
