Upper and lower jaw correction

When? If bite misalignment and/or jaw bone position cannot be corrected by moving the upper or lower jaw bone alone, both jaws will require correction. This can treat more extensive misalignments and major asymmetries.
What is it? After the upper and lower jaws have been set to an ideal position, the surgeon fixates them in their new positions with titanium plates and screws.
How? The entire procedure is performed through the mouth.
